I wish the blood grass would winter over here, but it’s not hardy to zone 5. I may leave it in and hope for the best though. At time of writing, the Ipomoeas have been in for 4 months, and they are now about 8 feet across. Clearly I didn’t need 10 of them, 4 would have done quite nicely. File that under lessons learned for next year. Here’s the current look:

This project really added a lot to our patio. I will definitely use Ipomoeas again next year, although I’ll probably get just 4 to 6 plants now that I’ve seen what they can do.
